Three versions of the opening story.
Each opens on its own page so this one stays light. The newest is on the homepage.
The original teaser
A thread tangles, untangles into a trail, finds a constellation of people, and settles into a compass ring. The first version, Oct 14.
The polished teaser
The same story, smoother, with captions that take center stage while the wordmark steps back.
The campaign
The guild's story: a quest appears, a party gathers, the adventure, the finale, and into the Chronicle.
What does the guild sound like?

Six slices of one idea.
You can't make a map from your desk. Every part of Experienceography comes back to going into the field, and bringing back a record.

A few directions for the emblem.
Rough concepts to react to, not a final logo. Pick favorites, mash two together, or tell me which ones are wrong.
The compass seal
Today's mark. A wax seal: something sealed and recorded, and a compass for direction.
The guild shield
A heater shield with a gold edge and a beveled compass star. Belonging and direction; now the crest in the site menu, and it reads well as a badge in the Guild App.
The field trail
Contour lines and a trail with an ember at its end. The untangled path, and the record of where you've been.
More directions · round 2
The untangled thread
A knot that straightens into a clear line with an ember at the end. The whole promise in one stroke.
The quest banner
A pennant planted in new ground. Good for expeditions and side quests: "we went, we were here".
The lantern
A light you carry into the unknown. Warm, honest, a little cozy. Pairs with "Be real".
The waypoint
A map pin with a compass star inside. "You are here" and "go there" in one shape.
The hex crest
A six-sided crest, one side for each slice of the brand. Very game-UI; tiles nicely as achievement badges.
The field journal
An open book with a compass star rising out of it. Explore, then write it down: the name itself, drawn.
The monogram ring
"e•o" in wax with a slowly turning ring. Simple enough for a profile picture, a sticker, or a favicon.
The constellation shield
Members as stars, linked into a shape. Each season could add a star: the guild literally drawing its own crest.
The campfire crest
Where the guild gathers at the end of the day. Warmer and more human than a shield; good for the Campfire call.
Some of these might work better as a family: one main mark plus smaller badges for quests, calls, and seasons.
Experiments I'm running, and you can join.
Some are things I'm doing and documenting. Some are open invitations. Follow the series, or ask to come along. (In the Guild App, these become real buttons.)
